Group Events

There is plenty of time to make arrangements to come to WSU on April 11 and 12 [Mom’s Weekend]. If housing cannot be found in Pullman/Moscow—I could recommend places in Lewiston/Clarkston, which is only 35 miles away from WSU….

On April 11, the Friends of Animal Sciences (alumni) group (FAS) is having its Board meeting, then business meeting directly following. Both will be in the Lewis Alumni Center. Meeting time begins at about 1:00 pm, for the Board meeting and about 1 hour later for the business meeting [a more definite calendar will be available soon]. If any of our alumni desires to help the FAS group, by serving on a committee.

Later on the same day (April 11) will be the annual AS Department awards presentations to students, student groups and others. For example, it is at this time that we award the Outstanding Alumnus Award, Service Award and Scientist Award. This year, we have three dynamic individuals [Richard Meyer, Gordon Davis and Ron Randel] getting these awards (more to follow; and see our Departmental website soon for their Bio’s: http://www.ansci.wsu.edu/Events/2007/april/awards2007/alumni.asp). There will be some free food, and a good time!!!!!!!!!!!!

On April 12 the College holds its annual awards event………you need to come to enjoy it!!!!

Both events will be held at the Ensminger Pavilion (the old meats building, or livestock pavilion—depending on how old you are).
